Telling real stories about people, places, and everyday life.

curtainixvo.net was founded to give ordinary people and places the kind of attentive, honest storytelling usually reserved for headline news. We publish interviews, documentary photography, and long-form articles about the communities, neighborhoods, and everyday experiences that make up life across Canada.

We are not affiliated with any government institution, news wire service, or corporation. Every story we publish reflects the independent work of our writers, photographers, and editors, and is reported directly from the communities it covers.

Our editorial content is produced independently of our advertising and sponsorship relationships. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and held to the same editorial quality standards as the rest of our publication. Readers can learn more about this separation on our Services page.
